What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling uses thousands of little needle-pricks in the facial skin to stimulate the production of collagen as the skin starts to regenerate itself.
During the regeneration process the facial skin starts to look smooth, tighter, wrinkles and age spots start to decrease, and skin tone will become more even. Microneedling is also effective in decreasing the size of large pores.
The microneedling procedure
Our Rejuvapen NXT® is an FDA cleared microneedling device. The procedure, performed by our professional medical staff typically takes less than an hour, is nearly painless (with the use of topical numbing cream) and requires little-to-no recovery time. Our device uses an EXCEL tip with gold plated needles that require fewer passes per treatment for shorter treatment time and increased comfort.
Immediately after the microneedling treatment, you might experience some redness and swelling in the area that was treated. This is completely normal and will pass in a few days. Before you know it, you will be enjoying your fresh new look.
